The U.S. Treasury's 10-Year Note

The 10-year T, as it is commonly known, has replace the 30-year Treasury Bond as the "benchmark" for long-term interest rates. The Treasury Department is no longer issuing any new 30-year bonds to finance or refinance our budget deficits or national debt.
